2. Hug a tree
3. Write an ode to a tree
4. Draw, paint, or sculpt a tree
5. Talk to friends about trees
6. Tell good (or bad) jokes about trees
7. Learn about trees (see below for a Cool Tool)
8. Use iNaturalist to share sightings of trees
9. Donate to Landcare to help plant trees
10. Do some Nature Journalling under a tree

What did we miss? How else will you celebrate trees? Let us know!

This National Tree Day we'll be at Bredbo CWA Village Markets from 9am-3pm. You can pot up some seedlings, do some activities, and bring an interesting leaf for a chance to win a prize.

We'll only have a limited range of plants for sale so email us if you want something specific. See you there!

Which native plants grow near you?

Use the TREES NEAR ME NSW website or app to explore and find your local Plant Community Types (PCTs) with lists of species. A great starting point for planning revegetation and for learning more about our awesome Snowy Monaro native plants.
